The More than Skin Deep learning program for Parents, Carers and Families is now live.
The overall aim of this learning program is to enhance the delivery of psychosocial care for children, young people and their families in order to improve outcomes and quality of life following a burn injury.
This program consists of two guides.
1. Supporting your child in hospital. (45 mins) 2. Supporting your child at home. (30 mins)
These guides provide parents and carers with strategies to help them support their child, themselves, siblings, and other family members while their child is in hospital and when they return home.
The guides contains on-screen information, podcasts, animations, and videos.
At the end of the guides there is a downloadable PDF of content covered.
