Project Summary
This learning resource was written at AQF I and assists in the knowledge and skill development of learners studying the unit TLIE507C Carry out basic workplace calculations. It is expected that learners in the workplace at this level will be involved in:
carrying out basic routine workplace calculations
preparing basic estimates of mass, size and volume
interpreting basic graphical representations or mathematical information
estimating and calculating manual load shifting requirements.
The learning resource was designed to meet the differing needs of individuals, enterprises, training organisations, and industries and captures a range of work roles and functions carried out by people working in the Transport and Logistics Industry.
The resource has four modules filled with animation, narrated text, videos and participatory activities.
