Goodbye Graffiti - A community project for young people
The Goodbye Graffiti: A Community Project for
Young People project, funded under the Western
Australian Police Force’s State Graffiti Community
Fund, has been developed to support facilitators
of outreach programs working with youth in the
local community to expand their knowledge,
understanding, skills and attitudes as they learn
about the impacts of graffiti on individuals,
businesses, schools, and communities.

Under the project, a series of eight, short activities
over a four-week period will be delivered promoting
a strong and proactive anti-graffiti message. This
series of activities forms the learning program.
The activities have been specifically designed
for use in a youth centre (or similar) providing a
fun, interactive experience using collaborative
learning strategies as well as facilitator-led learning
experiences.
This program is designed to engage
young people in thinking about the negative impacts
and consequences of graffiti vandalism versus
the positive impacts of interesting, relevant and
community-supported urban art.

EvolveCDT tasks: Mapped the curriculum; Wrote content; Created all design elements; Produced supporting videos and sound files; Consultation and project management.

Linda's creativity, innovative thinking and attention to detail was an asset to the project team.
Linda and the EvolveCDT team worked collaboratively with our team, organising regular touch points over the course of the project to share feedback, insights and ideas. Our team were able to pilot activities with children and young people in the community and share this knowledge with Linda's team to refine the project framework.
Linda's passion for community impact and meaningful engagement filters through all aspects of the work Evolve CDT creates.
We are very grateful for Linda's expertise and support.
